Four way stop at E. Longview and N. Glenwood West. Issue: vehicles fail to fully stop at stop signs. Hazard and safety concern for pedestrians and park users in this four-way stop location. Request: Mark stripes at each stop sign where vehicles are to fully stop. This to cause some attention to this stop sign issue where folks roll through and sometimes do not stop this causing danger for park users in the "hill area" chasing a ball and small children. Just requesting four bold stripes to delineate the stop sign marking on the street to emphasize the requirement to stop. Please reply so I know that you have received this request. Thank you on behalf of me and Park Ridge neighbors.

City needs to install a delineator along the dedicated bike lane that spans 3rd street between Emerson Ave & Indiana Ave. An extremely unsafe traffic pattern is forming where motorists are unsafely pulling into the bike lane hundreds of time a week, constantly causing near-misses and even some small accidents. This is a really bad accident waiting to happen.

E State Rd 46 Bypass & E 10th St, Bloomington, IN 47408, USA

At this and other intersections along the bypass, there is not sufficient signage for cyclists and pedestrians using the sidepath. The "walk" sign only turns on when you press the button, instead of automatically turning on with the green light. And because of the insufficient signage, drivers seem unaware that there is a side path, and frequently block bike/pedestrian traffic and make dangerous turns into people entering the crosswalks.

Greetings. We need moving violation enforcement and an increase in people who can do traffic law enforcement. Can someone in BPD as well as OOTM please read this article and consider how the City of Bloomington may work to make their streets actually safe and civil... Please take note of the quote about their goal. I think Bloomington needs to make the goal of public safety a top and most important priority! This is what the city of New Orleans is doing to help their police department with their staff shortages. 'They will have duties such as monitoring phone and online reports, issuing traffic citations, surveying major events like Mardi Gras and the Essence Festival and even doing some investigative work. Civilians would additionally be dispatched to calls that may not require an officer, such as collecting preliminary evidence, securing loose pets and responding to forgery, certain medical episodes and some thefts, New Orleans Police Superintendent Shaun Ferguson said last Thursday. 'The goal of all of this is to make our officers feel safe so that they can make our citizens and visitors feel safe,' Ferguson said. 'This is also to reduce some of the workload currently placed on our patrol and district personnel. But more importantly this is designed to reduce response time and address the backlogs in which we have in some of our districts.'" 1209 S Palmer AVE

I have lived on this street (S Palmer Avenue between Hillside and Grimes) for going on nine years now, and myself and my neighbors are concerned with the speed many non-residential drivers use on this span of Palmer. The majority of drivers maintain a speed far too fast down our street. This is especially troubling because half of our street has not sidewalks and many Bryan Park residents use the street as a walking path. I would like to request either a speed-monitoring study or the installation of traffic-slowing measures on this stretch of Palmer.

Between 4pm and 6pm traffic is usually backed up on Smith rd. If there was a left turn signal for however long or adjust the green on Smith rd an extra 20 seconds could also help during those time frame.

W. 3rd St. from Walker to Patterson needs line painting. From Ronson to Patterson the yellow line is totally gone this is an area that’s going to have a lot of student activity and they don’t understand about parking and double parking line painting would help.

Hello, I live on the south side of Bloomington on Coolidge Drive. Down the road from broad view learning center. I had noticed last year that road maintenance had placed speed bumps on all the Broadview neighborhood streets but Coolidge road. They are also now adding permanent speed bumps throughout the neighborhood but haven’t seen any signs that they will out any on Coolidge. Coolidge has a hill coming down from the school leading to Rogers. People fly down this road at 40+ MPH just to slam on their brakes before getting to the stop sign. It is a major concern of mine since people walk the side walks regularly. I’ve had my mailbox hit several times because the road is also smaller than normal and with flying cars then people over correct and cause damage to peoples property and their own cars. I would like to propose also adding a speed bump on Coolidge to help with the very fast and dangerous driving. Thank you, Kegan Smith

Three weeks ago, I was riding my bike west on 7th St in the bicycle lane as a car entered from Indiana Ave into the bike lane. I had to stop my bike and lift it over the curb to get around the car that was impeding both lanes of the bike lane. This is not my first experience with cars in the 7th St bike lane. Please install a post or bollard at the protected bicycle lane entrances to discourage cars from entering it. This is a simple, easy to install, and low cost solution. I don't understand why it wasn't installed in the first place.
