East 7th Street

In the transition from Longview Ave. to E. 7th St., the asphalt multi-use lane turns into a double-wide cement sidewalk. I've always stayed on the path because it links directly to the underpass at the bridge and seems and extension of the bike path. But today someone told me, "Get off the sidewalk idiot!" I pride myself on following the rules of bicycling. AQm I right or wrong to be using that stretch of cement?
Also, Smith Road between 3rd St. and Moore's Pike is a disaster for bicyclists--way too narrow to safely bike on the road, but only a cement sidewalk on the west side, which then vanishes to become a multi-use path on the WEST side of the road, which then vanishes again at the corner of Moore's Pike to become a sidewalk traveling west. How can my kids safely ride their bikes down Smith Road!?

On the bicycle sidepath bridge, where Tapp Rd goes over Clear Creek, some sheet metal has pealed loose and sticks up. Here is a Google Maps Satellite view showing its location:

There are constantly Kroger shopping carts obstructing the B-Line trail as the trail runs alongside the 2nd street Kroger.
Can Kroger be asked to keep the trail clear? If these carts were in the road they would be taken care of.

There is substantial gravel residue all along the B-Line due to the recent rain. Many larger patches that are dangerous to cyclists are in the block between Allen and Dodds streets.

Please consider adding a ramp connecting the B-Line to Adams Street at the north end of the trail; this would make transitioning to the street from the trail (and vice versa) a lot more convenient and easier for cyclists.

I was biking south on the B-Line trail yesterday, and was almost hit by a construction truck darting across the trail into the new development just north of the train tracks.
Is construction traffic required to yield the right of way here?

The sidewalk along the west side of Walnut street between the train tracks and the CVS is in bad shape. There are some large pieces of concrete that have come loose and have created several large tripping hazards.

College Avenue bike lane filled with debris; especially bad starting around 14th street and proceeding underneath the train tracks.

900-998 North Fess Avenue

Fess is a good bike route, but the pavement in this area is so deteriorated that it is dangerous. This is especially true under the railroad overpass because the sudden change from light to shadow makes it almost impossible to see the defects in the pavement.
