The intersection of Pete Ellis Dr./Discovery Parkway and 10th Street is used by residents of numerous apartment complexes, bus riders, and community members accessing the post office and the greenway that goes along 10th St. The intersection is necessary for access to Indiana University from Woodbridge and Fountain Park Apartments, which hosts many graduate students. However, there is no crosswalk, pedestrian lights, or sidewalk platforms to allow for safe crossing along this very busy intersection. Additionally, the traffic lights are not able to be seen from the four corners of the intersection, forcing pedestrians to make an educated guess on when to cross. In short, the intersection is dangerous and near impossible to cross. Would it be at all possible in the future to include a) a crosswalk b) a pedestrian crosswalk light c) sidewalk cutout/curb ramps on the two corners in which there is not one currently? Bike lanes on both sides of the road are covered with rocks, sand, debris. I am a full time bike computer and use this to travel from Walnut Street Pike to Rogers on a daily basis. Both sides of Rhorer and Gordon Pike need swept from Walnut Street Pike down to Rogers Road.

The lack of 4 way stops on 7th near Dunn is a severe hazard, resulting in several accidents. This is an extreme hazard for cyclists. Can someone from the city pedestrian and bicycle commission contact me about it. I would like to add it to the agenda at the next meeting in November.

At 7:26 am on 11/31/2023, a motorist in a dark BMW nearly ran me over as I was crossing the street. The vehicle was traveling about 50 MPH based on my calculation (speed=distance/time.) This is not the first near miss that I have had crossing the street or backing out of my driveway. I have sent in requests for a speed hump as motorist travel north and south between 3rd and 5th much faster than 25 MPH. I have not heard back from anyone. Please let me know that you have at least seen this uReport ticket. I tried to submit this report in the "Close Call" section more than once and it does not work.

East Fourth Street on the east side of Jefferson is blocked by tree limbs. The limbs hang down across Fourth (which at that point is just a pedestrian path) and extend down almost to the surface of the path.

This street is part of the 7 line and yet doesn’t have any traffic demarcation. Needs lane/yellow lines and white bike symbols. This was needed 4 years ago. They are completely gone now leading people to believe it is a one way street. This street (all of 7th, on campus) is part of the city’s green initiative and alternative transportation effort. thanks!

There is a pedestrian activated crossing from the Switchyard park over to the B-Link Trail on South Walnut. Activating the signal triggers a red light for traffic on South Walnut, but I constantly have issues here with traffic blowing through the red light, often at high speeds. Is there anything that can be done to make this crossing safer for pedestrians and cyclists?
