Please add a flashing light and signage at the crosswalk where the B-Line crosses Rogers to alert drivers to be prepared to stop for pedestrians. It's especially important because the sidewalk on the east side of Rogers is closed, so people entering or exiting the B-Line there need to cross from or to the west side of Rogers. (I.e., we can't walk on the east side and cross Rogers at the stop sign at 11th St.)
West side of north grant st sidewalk between 8th and 9th st is covered in layer of mud after every rain. Looks like curbing is needed slong sidewalk edge.
When will this street cut in the bike lane be repaired?
Many students cross 10th Street near John Hinkle Pl. to get to the #6 bus stop. Should a safety survey be conducted in this location?
Trees impinging the bike route on 7th st. They also block the view of oncoming traffic.
There are several sidewalk cuts along Washington Street in front of the AT&T building that are covered with smooth metal pieces. These metal covers provide absolutely no traction when wet and are very dangerous for pedestrians. Can these please be replaced with the more common covers that have raised ridges to provide some traction?
Tree branches need to be trimmed as they are blocking the sidewalk. 316 n Washington
I dropped by car off yesterday at World Wide Auto, and was biking home (heading west) along the sidepath on the north side of Tapp Road. Somewhere between Deborah Drive and Weimer Road, there is a drive cut, and the sidepath has a sudden and difficult to see drop of about 8 inches to the ground. There is no warning of this drop, and I had quite a crash because of this. This needs to be corrected ASAP. Thanks!
Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. There will be marked crosswalks on 3rd at Rose. On Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 10:51 AM, Schertz, Hannah H. <hschertz@indiana.edu> wrote: Thanks for the response. I have noticed the bike stripes. My concern is crossing 3rd at Rose as a pedestrian. Is there any chance of a crosswalk there? At this point, the likelihood of a sidewalk on Rose Avenue is very low. You probably have noticed changes on 3rd Street as a result of the City's Greenways Implementation Plan, however. Rose Avenue in the segment you describe is designated as a neighborhood greenway as well. So you will see some additional signage and striping at the 3rd & Rose intersection if you haven't already. Thank you again for your uReport request. Thanks, Adrian
