AT&T placed none-skid strips on the plates.
Other: There are several sidewalk cuts along Washington Street in front of the AT&T building that are covered with smooth metal pieces. These metal covers provide absolutely no traction when wet and are very dangerous for pedestrians. Can these please be replaced with the more common covers that have raised ridges to provide some traction?
AT&T placed none-skid strips on the plates.
AT&T has added slip tap on the plates. Original problem solved, Waiting for replacement.
Contacted AT&T Property Manager, they will apply non-slid tape and until they can replace the plates.
The downspot channel covers may be a violation of ADA 302 "302.1 General. Floor and ground surfaces shall be stable, firm, and slip resistant and shall comply with 302." Sent email to AT&T to establish contact.
Roy this is the sidewalk cuts on Washington we discussed.
