This is a persistent issue. Bike lanes and sidewalks (near the Lark apartments) are regularly blocked by shopping carts from Target, Bloomingfoods, and sometimes kroger. It is dangerous and especially at night. Abandoned carts are a feature near the Fields, the Monroe, Covenanter Hill, the Lark, but this bike lane and the Clarizz multi use path are the most problematic locations to abandon them. Please contact the Lark to prevent the obstructions in the future.
Hello, I regularly ride the bike lane along W 3rd and recently noticed that, at the intersection of W 3rd and the train tracks, the bike lane has been diverted onto the sidewalk. Could you please explain the reason for this diversion? Prior to the change, I continued through the intersection using the existing bike lane without issue, and I am trying to better understand the purpose and intent behind the new routing.
No attempt at clearing snow
This address has a "mosquito" sound-producing device that is a hazard to pedestrian/bicyclist safety--the shock from the sound has made be veer into the road in shock multiple times.
Sidewalk missing. Hazardous and dangerous for walkers.
All of the painted lines that were crosswalks here have long since worn away and no one has come to repaint them. Some drivers still treat this area as if the lines are painted, but many do not. Crosswalks near stoplights and Hills often have people driving accelerate the most. Please repaint all four crosswalks, 2 on Washington, and 2 on 2nd st.
There is a restaurant named la Bodega right next to healing hands thrift store that has tree like landscaping on the walkways. They are basically blocking the sidewalks. One is on the ramp which makes it even more difficult for those with disabilities. I tried to remedy by discussing it with the restaurant but it seemed with they did not care or did not understand the problem with it.
Are there any plans to convert the narrow sidewalk on the south side of E 2nd Street between High Street and College Mall Road to a multimodal path? It would be a great option to encourage safe routes to Binford/Rogers with options for pedestrians and bicycles
My bike was stolen from this rack behind Hopscotch Coffee, which it turns out is not secured to the ground. I asked a tenant and they said Brawley Properties manages this building. If it can’t be secured it should be removed!
