Cheyenne ~ I got an email from you earlier today, but couldn't respond to it. Thank you for looking into this matter. I wanted to update that this week we have had 2 cars broken into. The neighbors are concerned about the dark street. Thanks again ~ Vickie P.S. I am a homeowner, but because I sit on the Board I field lots of complaints/concerns from residents. Light is completely out. I think yall might have looked at it but it’s not fixed. The light comes on very dim for maybe an hour a night. Please fix! We have so much crime from neighboring areas and need this light working. Thank you! Also the light is at the corner of 1217 N Glandore and Marquis

The street light in front of my house provides light indiscriminately, as do all the lights in the neighborhood. Does the city have any plans to work with Duke to replace the fixtures to ones (possibly more energy efficient - saving money in the long term) that direct the light toward the ground to reduce the light pollution? I asked Duke about the one near me and their response was to contact the city. Thank you for your consideration.
