SOUTH WALNUT ST PIKE AND WINSLOW RD INSTERSECTION: WIRES HANGING IN FRONT OF SIGNAL. CAN'T SEE WHEN TURN ARROW COMES ON
SOUTH WALNUT ST PIKE AND WINSLOW RD INSTERSECTION: WIRES HANGING IN FRONT OF SIGNAL. CAN'T SEE WHEN TURN ARROW COMES ON
The intersection of Patterson and 2nd street is horribly timed. The turning lane can maybe get 3-4 cars through it. The lanes that cross can maybe get 5-8. This especially bad in the mornings. There are several times that I have almost been hit by the turning lane as they are trying to rush the red light (due to the small # of cars that can get through). Also, there are several times that people in the turning lane on 2nd are running the light which puts the Patterson Drive people at a risk to get hit or not have enough time to get through the light.
Light at 4th and Walnut flickering
3rd and Jordan, north bound. The new configuration encourages both north bound lanes to proceed north, which is only one lane wide. The left side light should be left turn only, and that lane should be clearly marked left turn only. I took my granddaughter to lots of Nutcracker rehearsals, and this scared me all the time. Hopefully by next years performance this will be fixed. Otherwise an excellent upgrade to this important intersection.
Signal at college mall rd and Moores pike is blinking red.
The automatic traffic signals at Kirkwood Ave. and Adams Street need to be adjusted. The most aggravating problem is the insufferably long green signal for Adams Street traffic heading south. 3 or 4 minutes seems unreasonably long for traffic going south on Adams, especially at night.
At 17th & Kinser Pike, from 17th turning left onto Kinser the turn light comes on whether there is a car there or not. I have noticed this all day today from this morning to this evening.
New light at intersection of w. 2nd and Twin lakes rec center is too short and causing major delays to the east.
The new stop light on second street at the Sports Complex is causing traffic to back up in both directions at 8 am and 5 pm. If the light were to be flashing during those heavy traffic times, it would be a tremendous help. I work at the IMA building on Landmark Ave. I couldn't even get out of the parking lot for 10 minutes last evening. It took another 10 minutes to get to the stop light. This is not acceptable. Thank you.
I want to thank the city for installing traffic lights at the exit of Twin Lakes Rec Center, at the intersection of Bloomfield Rd and Rolling Ridge Dr. They are a big help to me when I need to make a left turn from the TLRC. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
