The traffic light on the Old SR 37 and N Walnut intersection is out.
The traffic light on the Old SR 37 and N Walnut intersection is out.
The stoplight at Old 37 North and North Walnut/Business 37 is not working correctly this week. Cars heading south on Old 37 and coming to that stoplight are not triggering the light to change to green. It stays green for the North Walnut/Business 37 traffic...I have sat there in a row of cars for 10 minutes two days in a row. Today, an impatient driver in a big pickup zoomed out of the row of waiting cars up to the front of the line, presumably trying to trigger the light. Either the sensor isn't working or it is located beyond where the stop line is marked. This is going to cause an accident. Thank you!
The lights at Henderson and Atwater, and then at Henderson/Indiana at 3rd, are very poorly timed in the morning. The first car through at Henderson-Atwater when the light turns green *might* make it through the green light at Indiana-3rd, but no one else will unless they go way over the speed limit, causing a hazard (which they do). This also causes unnecessary backup and delays on this major road leading toward IU. Meanwhile, traffice on Atwater (especially) and 3rd is very light, both having a very long green with few cars going through. This light timing was bad last year, seemed to have been changed for the better, and now appears to have been changed back.
Timing on northbound Leonard Springs at w 2nd- Bloomfield-45. In mornings, only 5-6 cars get thru light cycle. Traffic at standstill almost to Fullerton Pike. This road takes a lot of traffic with westbound lane restrictions and 37 backup
Sensors not working. Stays green for Pete Ellis for 30 sec even when no cars.
S. Walnut Street Pike southbound traffic light at Rhorer Rd always goes green including a green left arrow (with no cars turning) even when multiple cars are waiting to go at the other side of the intersection, northbound on Walnut Street Pike.
Ped signal at Smith and Washington is triggering erroneously a couple times per minute. Not sure if the rain is causing this or what.
The green light bulb is out on the right traffic signal as seen when traveling southbound on Rockport Rd. at the intersection with Tapp Rd./Country Club Rd.
The left turn signal exiting the shopping center (Welmir Dr.) onto W. 3rd is TO SHORT. This lane backs up extensively, causing significant congestion during peak traffic times. Best case scenario, 4 cars are able to clear the turn lane before the light changes. From Liberty to west-bound 3rd stays green until the lane is cleared.
