Hi! It's been long enough since I worked for the City that I can no longer remember whether this is a signal that the state or the city controls, so please let me know if I need to talk to the state instead.
I am a parent of a North High School student, but we're districted in South, so we carpool every day to school and back. I noticed today that the signal at 46 and Kinser Pike doesn't stay green very long for the cars on Kinser. Normally, that makes total sense. However, I'm wondering if, during that pick up time in the afternoon when traffic backs up down Kinser Pike, the timing of the light could change to allow for more cars to get through that intersection. It would be so lovely if that were possible. It's a pretty small window, starting with when the school buses leave North, probably around 2:50 or so, and maybe going for 20 minutes after that? Turn signal is triggered when no cars are present on Kirkwood. Occurring for over a year. Causes traffic that is headed east on Kirkwood and then north on Walnut to miss the chance for a green light at 6th and Walnut. Waste my time, gas, and kills our environment every single workday.

Traffic signal for eastbound traffic on 17th is hung up in the power/telecom overhead cables. Could damage the cables. Also makes it harder to see the light since its angled down.

Traffic light at 10th and Union gives Union Street 50 seconds of green light time when it always has lighter traffic loads than Tenth Street. 10th Street East and West receives 20 seconds of green light time....opposite setup compared to what street car volumes are. Light needs to be the opposite timing of what it is currently

At the intersection of Kingston Drive and 3rd street, the walk signal for crossing 3rd street on the east side of Kingston (for example, from K-mart to Marsh) is malfunctioning. No matter how many times I push the "walk" button, the signal does not show "walk," and it makes this crossing perilous.

On the east side of the roundabout at Rogers Rd. and Sare Rd there are several white reflector poles (about 3 ft tall) lying on the side of the road. It looks like they were knocked down, and they've been lying there for several weeks.

Today around 2:00 PM, the railroad signal was on, but the signal for eastbound traffic on 10th street never switched to green. Westbound traffic on 10th St got the green light and traffic turning left from eastbound 10th St got a green light, but traffic going straight east on 10th St never got a green light. I had to turn left onto the bypass to get out of there. Others just went through the red light.

Traffic signals northbound on Henderson at Atwater and 3rd st are badly out of sync. It's a busy commuting corridor. Thanks.
