Traffic Signals
181 S Stonechase Crossing Rd
- Case Date:
- 7/30/2015
The traffic signal for pedestrian at State Rd 46, North Kinser Pike intersection is broken on the second pole. It is getting difficult to cross the road.
Prolonged traffice light timing on 3rd street and Landmark.
I was facing East on Indiana 45 and turning left (North) onto Kinser Pike. I didn't make the green left turn arrow and ended up in the middle of the intersection waiting to make an unprotected left. My light turned red but oncoming traffic still had a green, the oncoming turn lane got a green arrow. I was unable to clear the intersection, was unable to back up with cars behind me, and was blocking traffic from Kinser Pike when they got a green light. This is dangerous, I had assumed that oncoming traffic also had a red and would stop (as it had been for years), I was starting to clear the intersection by making the left when I realized oncoming cars weren't stopping. A turn lane where unprotected turns are allowed should not get a red while oncoming traffic still has a green.
The turn lights are very short. They only let maybe 3 cars through before it changes. This is especially an issue in the mornings when traffic is heavy. The worst light is when you pull out of Kroger and head towards 45 bypass
South-bound Kinser Pike yellow left-turn signal is not glowing
Tree obscuring stop sign
The signals do not switch the lights when traffic is stopped in an east -west direction but no traffic is going is traveling in the north-south direction. Either the sensors are not working or the electronics is at fault.
This is a light which depends on a sensor, not timed. The sensor on High street (I believe the north side) seems to be permanently activated. This has adversely affected traffic.
The traffic light at this intersection high st and hillside is not timed properly. When traveling east west, the light is very short and only allowed 8 to 9 cars to get through so the traffic is backing up very badly
