Traffic light is falling down
Traffic light is falling down
Thank you: Last month I submitted a Ureport regarding synchronization of traffic signals on Walnut Street from 2nd - 10th Street. This is a message to recognize the recalibration and synchronization that has occurred since my message. Many thanks to all team members who assisted and fixed the complaint I had. You all rock!!! Special thanks to Chris Axsom and Freddie Love for personally replying to me with updates. I am now saving 5+ minutes on my daily morning commute.
Several traffic lights on College Mall Road have their timing off in the early morning. They are red for an extended time when no one is there. The problem areas are at Covenanter, Buick-Cadillac and by Fazolis. The flow of traffic is greatly hindered. They were fine before the two recent wind storms.
The sensors for the light for traffic southbound on High St. give that direction the green light (straight and turn) even when there are no cars there. The northbound lane can sit for a while waiting for the green for a while. I haven't timed it, but it feels like a full left turn cycle. This is not only inefficient, but frustrating. When you live in the area and have to deal with this all the time, it can really be annoying.
Traffic light on Atwater and Indiana very long on the Indiana side almost two minutes. On Atwater going towards the east side the light stays green for a long time. Once the light on Indiana changes only about 3 cars can go before it turns red again.
The signal light at Third and Woodcrest always thinks there is a car turning left, even when both East and west traffic in the turn lane is empty
The traffic light that is off patterson next to catalnt. Maybe someone with the city can come fix it. It's been broke going on a month it turns green then red every 15 20 sec . It really bullshit that it's still going on. The best part is it does this day and night and even better there is no traffic in north to south.
signal stops 3rd st. traffic and backs up traffic even when no traffic is on Woodscrest.
Traffic light timing is messed up causing delays on Rockport. It was fixed for a while but seems to be messed up again post the July 4th power outages.
(This may have been fixed since I went through yesterday, but I thought I should report the issue anyway.) Over the weekend, the West Church Lane side of the 4-way intersection of S Walnut/S Fairfax/ W Church was not registering that cars were waiting for the traffic light. I went through on two occasions and the first time I had to wait three light cycles before getting a green light and the second time I had to wait four cycles with a large line of traffic behind me. It seems like there may be something wrong with the sensors.
