Patterson traffic light to turn onto 3rd Street West is red far too long
Patterson traffic light to turn onto 3rd Street West is red far too long
The left turn arrow on S. Walnut southbound at Hillside cycles green every time regardless of whether or not there's a car turning left. And the junction box in the street for the loop wires is open with all the wiring exposed.
Traffic light has been malfunctioning for going on two years. When will it be repaired?
Northbound Walnut left turn arrow is now turning green repeatedly with no cars in the lane turning. The southbound turn signal has been malfunctioning for over two years. This was supposed to be repaired this year. Time is running out.
Traffic Stop Sign; the stop sign at the intersection of Adams and Allen St. is so hidden that people frequently plow through it. I suggest there be a sign put up that alerts drivers before the stop sign, as I have almost been in several car accidents as a result of people failing to stop at this sign (if you are heading West going toward the stop sign, it is that stop sign). It comes up really quickly on a hill and it hidden behind trees and it difficult to see (especially if you are driving too fast, which unfortunately many people in this city do).
Left turn arrow on northbound Walnut at Hillside is cycling green for 30 seconds everytime, with no cars on the loop.
Left turn arrow on S. Walnut southbound for E. Hillside goes green every cycle regardless of whether there's a car on the loop in the left turn lane or not.
It's getting worse. It's now cycling green for all three lanes of southbound traffic on Walnut when there are no cars at all. And this morning it cycled a green left turn arrow for northbound Walnut turning left onto W. Hillside with no cars there. Hadn't seen it do that for a while.
Signal has been malfunctioning for months. When is it slated for repair?
This traffic signal has been malfunctioning for over a year and repair is slated for this year, hopefully, but in the interim, could you adjust the timer on the malfunctioning left turn arrow for S. Walnut to Hillside to only stay green for 15 or fewer seconds rather than the full 30 seconds that everyone has to wait going northbound now. Add'l note that if a car is actually turning left onto Hillside, the light cycles much faster.
