On southbound High Street at Hillside, left turn traffice signal activated during every cycle, whether there is a car in left-turn lane or not. Sensors need to be checked, please, since traffic backs up needlessly.
Since the repaving on High St. the light favors traffic on High instead of the more travelled road of Hillside causing traffic to move less smoothly along Hillside.
the traffic light at the corner of 2nd street and high street needs fixing. going west on 2nd street, the left turn signal ALWAYS goes on for every cycle-- even with no car making a left turn. and, because there is no car, the signal stays on the maximum length. it started doing this only recently. it should engage only when a car is there to make a left turn. please fix.
Traffic light at Rogers and Rockport not working. Staying green for Rogers forcing Rockport traffic to yield to turn onto Rogers. Hazardous doing this due to the hills.
I'm not sure what's up with the pedestrian signal at High Street and Greenbriar Lane. It's been fixed at least twice in the last few months, but it is acting up again (flashing even when there are no pedestrians around to push the button). I appreciate the city's prompt response to the previous reports, but it would be nice if someone could figure out what the problem really is and fix it for good.
The "walk" signals for crossing Third Street at High and Bryan Avenues never gave us the walk signal despite having pressed the pedestrian crossing buttons several times, and sitting through several cycles of the stoplight(s). This was both crossing Third Street heading north onto Bryan, as well as crossing Third Street south onto High.
The traffic light on E 3rd St and High St facing East (for people driving west on 3rd St) has the left turn arrow signal out
The left turn arrow light heading west on Third onto high street (turning to go south) seems to be out.
On 8/27/2024 around 10:30am, the traffic light facing/releasing Bryan Ave onto 3rd St went through about 5 cycles without turning green. The person in the front of the line was forced to turn right on red to be able to leave. After they did that, the signal turned green in the next cycle.
