Union Valley Rd and Outback Rd. Need turn signal light where they meet SR46. N Centennial and N smith pike both get one and have just as much traffic. The centennial side actually now just triggers if one car rolls through to turn right and they don’t need the signal. All cars are at a standstill until the signal rolls through the timer while no one moves because no cars are present at the light. If Centennial gets a signal there is no justification for union valley to not have a left turn arrow because it had more traffic, accesses more households, and when the St. John’s church let’s out on the Outback rd side, you sit through multiple lights before getting to turn. PLEASE ADDRESS SOON. IT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS AND COUNTY WONT ADDRESS THE ISSUE.
The left turn signal for northbound traffic turning left onto westbound 10th St. is always activating, even when there is no car in the left turn lane.
The light on Walnut heading north at 1st Street has been functioning differently for a while now than it used to. It used to be that when the crosswalk signal for northbound pedestrians hit zero the light turned yellow. Now, the light stays green for a long time after that. The light on 1st Street is red way too long. The traffic on Walnut has a green light and starts to back up at 2nd because the Walnut light at 2nd is red from the prior cycle still. Can someone look at this and see if that Walnut light at 1st can be fixed so it is not holding on green for so long?
The pedestrian signals at the intersection of W Bloomfield Rd and Landmark Ave traffic light do not work. We have tried all four corners and it never signals for the pedestrian crossing. We have waited through multiple light changes to see if it would work but nothing happens. This is a very busy intersection and as a disabled pedestrian who uses this intersection to board public transit it scares me to say the least.
The east bound left turn signal came on at the same time as the westbound straight lane signal. This could cause an accident!
The left turn arrow for the left turn does change to green. I sat through this light on Thursday and today for two light cycles and it never turned green.
On 7th street the construction has resulted in multiple stop signs being taken out. Every day I see cars spewing through which is ferrying especially at night when it is hard to see pedestrians because of the new bike lane. This neighborhood is where my friends reside and every day I fear for their safety. These stops signs need to be put back in immediately because of the danger they are actively putting residents and students in. Construction should not result in danger for safety.
The traffic light at 7th and College isn’t giving westbound traffic the green arrow, and now that that intersection is “turn on green arrow only” cars are stacking up in the left turn lane with no chance to go. This evening I sat through 3 light cycles and never got the green arrow, despite the fact that there were 3-4 cars behind me. This is especially problematic at the moment because 7th is closed at Morton St, so 95% of westbound traffic on 7th needs to turn left onto College. Could this be fixed, and the resulting green arrow made long enough for 3-4 cars to get through before it turns red? Thanks!
It's getting worse. It's now cycling green for all three lanes of southbound traffic on Walnut when there are no cars at all. And this morning it cycled a green left turn arrow for northbound Walnut turning left onto W. Hillside with no cars there. Hadn't seen it do that for a while.
