traffic light blinking yellow on College Mall Road and Buick Cadillac Blvd.
Green arrow lights up when no cars in turn lane
Traffic signal at intersection of College Mall Rd and Buick-Cadillac Blvd is out.
The light that was removed from this intersection when Tapp was closed at 37 should be reinstalled due to the heavy amount of traffic especially during rush hours. People needing to turn left are just left sitting and blocking traffic because of being unable to turn.
stoplight blinking red all directions
Can you please fix the traffic signals at Rogers and Country club so drivers don't get frustrated and do stupid stuff like this anymore: https://www.reddit.com/r/bloomington/comments/1jqvcyk/comment/mlrclbj/ The problem is the light cycles are too short for all the East-West traffic. There will be dozens of cars backed up on Country Club and the light will turn red to let like 3 cars stopped at Rogers go.
I think the traffic signal timing should be modified at the intersection of Country Club and Rogers. During afternoon rush hour (and presumably morning rush hour as well) traffic on Country Club has to wait through multiple light cycles. Traffic on Rogers backs up much less.
I approached the traffic light on Country Club and Rogers from the East around 9:50 p.m. on July 14. When I got to the gas station driveway the light turned red for me. There were no cars coming from the north and south on Rogers so it seemed that it was a timing change, not motion change. Several other cars arrived on Country Club from both directions and we sat there as the light cycled through the turn arrows and straight lights for Rogers. Having the light there change on a timing cycle does not seem like the proper decision. Want to add I love green arrows and motion sensors and the yellow arrows that were recently implemented around town so I think that's why this struck me.
I've noticed two days in a row, the traffic "walk" lights along third street (specifically those intersecting Pete Ellis Drive, Kingston Drive, and Clarizz Blvd), buttons are unresponsive in the early mornings. I am not sure if it has something to do with the cold morning weather that these buttons might be getting "stuck" or going to sleep, or having some other electrical issues when it is cold.
