The curb that encloses the parking lot in front of Turquaz Cafe is a hazard to vehicles. It's very difficult to park in the provided spaces because there's a ditch meeting that much higher curb just behind it. It leaves too little room for drivers to maneuver out of a parking space and out of the lot. I often eat at this restaurant and several times have been blocked in due to trucks parking in adjacent spaces. This makes the already difficult task of maneuvering out of the space impossible. And I've damaged my car on the ditch and curb. At the very least, the spots should be labeled for compact cars only. Ideally, the curb would be removed and the lot repaved. Abandon car, facing wrong way, expired registration
A maroon car has been parked on 6th street for well over a month and unhoused people sleep in it sometimes. Parking enforcement put a ticket on it the other day and someone simply removed the ticket and seemed to throw it away. Neighborhood are concerned for their safety as it seems associated with a shed with no plumbing occupied behind the house at the corner across the street. The car's plate is tjs430
The contractors for the housing development by Bloomingfoods East are constantly using the Bfoods parking lot for staging, contractor parking, and using the access street for the same purpose. They are blocking traffic, and creating dangerous access conditions. Is this part of their traffic plan? If so, somebody in Planning needs to look closer at these plans.
There is an abandoned red car (plate TJS430) on the south side of 6th St near Adams. It has been parked without moving for over a month with people sleeping in it at regular intervals.
