I have live at Acadia Court Apts and have difficulty walking. There have been two construction cones blocking the sidewalk and uneven particle board covering the walk making it difficult for me to leave my apartment and get to my car in the parking lot without falling down. Property management has not been responsive to my request for completion of the work.
Constantly parks blocking sidewalk to stollers and wheelchairs
City construction on sidewalk with no type 2 closure barricades and no sidewalk detour. This has been here for a week and still has no detour and no changes. As a contractor we are held to a higher standard. If I closed this sidewalk and pulled the permit I’d be sitting on several fines at this point. Just a good example of how the city and city relationship is poor. Which paints the picture of a hostile relationship between contractors and city enforcement when you issue fine.
Can someone please contact the Relato and tell them to stop blocking the multi use path? This is the second time in about a week. People walking and biking should not have to deal with unpredictable obstructions on infrastructure NOT FOR CARS. There is parking immediately adjacent.
This house has two driveways: one on E 2nd St, on one with a garage in Anita. There is no reason that car should be allowed to park in a way that blocks sidewalk for pedestrians on 2nd Street, forcing them to walk into the busy street to walk around the car.
Barriers were in the public right of way. I moved them out. An employee moved them back in. I spoke to an employee named Will who assured me they would not move them back in.
