A couple months ago the fire inspector came and inspected BBs market shared room with us the thrift shop where the sprinkler system and computer that monitors smoke or fire in the building. In the alley between 909 and 911 S Madison St., a property owner (909) is running an electrical line (extension cord) from their home across the alley to send power to an above ground pool. The wiring lays across hot asphalt and is covered by old carpets. This is an unsafe method for provide electricity to a separate property, and poses risks of fire in the neighborhood.
