recieved call from lady who was upset about "severe" fire hazard conditions at Rays Auto Repair shop located at 3090 s. old 37. She was concerned that the public was entering a building that has so many problems.

Complainant stated that there is a strong odor of burnt gas fumes coming from construction side of library.
Utilities notified the fire department that Southern Winds has re-routed domestic water to a fire line. Usage has been high on the fire line and they will be back-billed to Jan. 1997. Utilities want inspector to check it out to make sure that the fire systems are safe.

There are so many loose power lines all over Varsity Court properties. There is one in the main parking lot that is dangling so badly as well. I made a maintenance request for the other one and they just moved it into some branches instead of actually getting someone to fix it.
