B-Town Diner at 211 N. College allows it's employees and guests to freely use electronic smoking devices in it's establishment, despite the health inspector specifically instructing the owner and management that this was not allowed. Employees have also allowed and encouraged a minor employee (under the age of eighteen) to engage in this practice. There have been complaints to the owner and management but these have been ignored or flatly dismissed. These devices are in frequent use by wait staff as well as kitchen staff.

2 people in my apartment complex are smoking inside their apartments. It’s coming in through my walls and vents so badly that I’m having asthma attacks. I’ve emailed my property management company who has sent out texts, but the smokers in the building are still smoking indoors.

Spring has started and the outdoor smoke coming from the Barbecue is in full force at the Short Stop food-mart on North Smith Road. My wife and I had three meetings with the City Council about this issue in 2015. And 2 recorded meetings with the council as a whole and a second meeting a few weeks later. The smoke issue was to be addressed for this location. But Chris Smith sold the store without implementing the standards the City Council had requested he perform. He was supposed to install and indoor smoker by December of (2015) that never happened. And he then sold the business in spring of 2016. As an example of how bad this smoke is. I hung wet laundry outside yesterday (Wednesday 4-25-18). Hoping for that nice fresh air smell when it was dry. Our clothing smelled like we had been next to a campfire. So I had to rewash all of the clothing. This has become a HUMAN HEALTH hazard and it has not been taken seriously. The city did nothing after our meetings to address SMOKE issues from cooking outdoors. I really hate to call the Fire department each time I smell smoke. As the cost to the city will be ridiculous for putting out (3) outdoor smokers. But that is what I am going to start doing. As we cannot breath. She had a lung removed and everyone is turning a blind eye towards this fact. Let me know what the city can do. Our district representative Allison Chopra was at the meetings as she was running for office and won the election. But I was told she had slept since the meetings and did not remember the restrictions placed on the smoke issue. A tenant of this building reported there is a transient in one of the restrooms on the 6th floor. Caller said he thinks the person is smoking.

I live in a non-smoking building policy stablished per lease. My next door neighbor is smoking weed everyday. The marijuana smoke entry in my apartment and I have headache, increased heart rate, problems sleeping and asthma attacks. Landlord just sending generalized emails. This problem has been running for almost 4 month and is not solved.

A City of Bloomington Parks employee wearing his neon yellow logo'ed vest and shirt is bumming cigarettes off people on the B-line next to Kroger. If he was off duty, he had a jacket with him he could have covered up his City shirt. Instead he walked the B line smoking while people tried to jog and bike past him. What a poor representation of the City. No smoking in our parks by anyone let alone the staff.

600 W. Kirkwood Ave. The grass is so tall that it's starting to cover the "Zoning request pending" sign posted near the front sidewalk. No rain in the forecast until this coming weekend...they should be able to mow that lot now!

2 security patrol vehicles for the b line trail were pulled over on the trail smoking cigarettes. Not good for people like myself with asthma. Not good for encouraging citizens not to smoke on the trail.
