The City does not maintain the trees between the sidewalk and the street on Adams. The trees and brush are overgrown with invasive species and the local residents are spending hours and money trying to maintain the weeds/trees that are impeding their property. The sidewalk is not accessible because the City has not maintained their portion of the land between the sidewalk and the street.
Does not have handicap parking nor sidewalk access for handicap or proper dooring to allow a wheelchair or walker to enter the business. There is also no smoke alarms for the hearing impaired within the a building that has many obstacles to reach the only 2 Exits at the front of the building. There is a locked gate put in place at 8pm while customers are still in the building that blocks off the exit to the back of the building.
The curb at the corner of Landmark and Arch Haven is very steep, about 3 inches of rise at an angle probably close to 70°. Landmark Ave has many medical facilities and this path is the one people would travel on between Adams and 3rd St where transit vehicles provide access. It should be smoothed out to provide a safer ramp for people with mobility devices and unsure footing.

Neighbors in wheelchairs are riding on the street on E. Allendale due to inaccessible sidewalks throughout the neighborhood.
We have a lot of problems with our building, including automatic doors not working, trash disposal problems and maintenance issues. There are dozens of light bulbs out on each floor. Pivotal, the company out of Ohio who bought the property last year, has had staffing issues that have caused numerous problems and bills not getting paid like trash removal and landscaping for mowing. The Fire Marshal found issues with the elevator and I have no idea if they have been corrected. Many of the residents have mobility problems and they need the front and back lobby doors working properly. This company is notorious with retaliatory evictions which I understand is illegal in Indiana. People are afraid to complain for this reason. Two property managers have walked off the job in the past 2 weeks and our maintenance guy is worthless. Please help us get these issues fixed asap! The trash issue is fast getting out of control. Terrific on the new low income sidewalk program. But residents other than property owners use them too. Please have any owner, low income or not, fix the red poor condition sidewalks. Plus there are low income families in other zones so unfortunate that they can't participate. Wouldn't it make more sense to prioritize the worst and busiest sidewalks and fix them systematically instead of by piecemeal application? An amazing sidewalk system that is kept as nice as you all do the roads would be great. Thank you for continuing your work on multiple good transportation options.
