2 lime scooters are parked in our driveway
This has been the view from my office the past two days. Scooters scattered everywhere inhibiting pedestrians and a complete eyesore to Btown.
Scooter left in the verge
I really like the new dismount zone signs on the sidewalks at the corners of intersections on Kirkwood. Much easier to notice than the signs on the poles (too high for riders to notice) By the way it looks like someone removed the one on the corner sidewalk at Kirkwood and Indiana so it needs to be replaced. Wish these were placed around the courthouse square too so riders could see them. Like I said I don't think the ones on the poles are useful. They are just too high to be noticed. The signs on the sidewalks are much easier to see. Thanks

Follow-up Case #179422. "Good afternoon, sorry for the delay in response, I was unsure of who to send this type of case. Forwarding to Parking Services thank you" Two comments: 1) after several years and lots of scooter complaints (media, uReport, etc.) it's strange that it wasn't routine where to refer it 2) maybe that explains why not a single ticket has been for improperly parked scooters. Anyhow, I suggest that routine monitoring of sidewalks (downtown at least) be assigned to Parking Enforcement
Scooter parked across the width of the sidewalk at 714 E First, Sunday afternoon.
Bike racks should only be allowed for bikes and other personal transports that need to be locked up. Scooters owned by those companies do not need to be locked up, and yet people park them on bike racks, taking up valuable bike parking space with heavy scooters that are nearly impossible to move without knocking them over and push them around, since the wheels don't seem to move unless you've downloaded the app and paid to move that scooter. Can you please put a sign at all bike racks saying that scooters etc that aren't personally owned cannot be parked there? Today as I was on the Bline at Kirkwood, a whole bike rack of at least 8 racks was fully taken up by those stupid electric scooters, as if someone took them home to charge them and just lined them up there. Even though they don't need to be locked up! If these thigns are going to continue to exist, there needs to be a separate parking situation set up for them, because they're equally in the way when people just leave them in the middle of the sidewalk.
