One garbage pick up day a couple weeks ago the recycle bin at this location was flattened and replaced, but whoever did it also knocked the heel sign to an angle.
People are blowing through this 4 way stop from all directions! This has always been an issue, but even more so from where the road has been closed for so long. There are many residents and pedestrians that cross here which makes it a very unsafe situation. Rumble strips or a temporary flashing stop sign might remind people that they need to stop here!

I am wondering why there are 2 speed limit signs right after another on S Highland, when you are coming from the intersection of Miller Drive and heading towards the YMCA. On the right hand side, there is a yellow sign with a 15 mph speed limit, which makes sense because there is a dangerous curve coming up. Next thing you know there is a white sign with a 20 mph sign, also on the right hand side, still before the curve. Wouldn't it make more sense to put the 20 mph sign first and then the 15 mph one?? This morning while driving to school we noticed that the sign post holding the street signs for Loroy Ave and S Village drive was down in a neighbor’s yard. It looks like someone may have hit the sign post. Just wanted to report that in hopes that it can be fixed. Thank you.
Blocked stop sign- I have posted this before, when a food truck parks on Kirkwood in front of the library near Lincoln (north side of the street) the stop sign for west bound traffic is obscured. In the 5 minutes I have been watching, 4 cars have completely run the stop sign. If the sign was in the small planter bed closest to the street or mounted on the same pole as the street sign, this might be avoided. Or at a minimum post no parking sign for tall vehicles. Thanks!
There's been an abandoned Sidewalk Closed sign sitting on the sidewalk at S. Highland and E. Winslow for over a month.
I would like to let you know that the traffic speed sensor has been un-operational for a very long time. Which is unfortunate because it's an area where people tend to speed quite regularly. I live on the corner and have had a person even crash through my privacy fence that was speeding down High street. School has just started, let's get that thing going and hopefully it will help people remember to drive sensibly. Thanks!
we have a high volume of traffic. The traffic is in the form of many cars, buses, bikers, scooters, and walkers. There are no speed limit signs on the street. Additionally, there is no pedestrian crossing. Additionally, I would like to request a stop sign at the corner of University and Eagle Avenue. This is to slow traffic. Currently, cars and buses drive over the speed limit as a regular Habit. It is loud, and dangerous to the other Traffic, such as walkers. The cars are dominant on the street. Even if there is a parent with a baby in a stroller, they will still run through the stop sign and drive around the baby. It is chaotic and out of control. It is also very loud. Something needs to be done to address the situation. My suggestion is pedestrian crossways at first and Eagleson, University and Eagleson, and a stop sign at University and Eagleson. Additionally, we need some signs that tell people what the speed limit is. It should be 25 mph. It is a residential neighborhood.
