There needs to be a four way stop sign at this intersection. It’s currently not safe for cars driving northbound on Hawthorne, as you can’t see very far to the left and cars come flying down 1st street at high speed (way over the speed limit) due to the lack of stop signs along this stretch of the road. This in of itself is a safety issue for the many families living along the road but also for the bikers and pedestrians trying to cross along that Hawthorne greenway bike route. Likewise, when approaching this intersection going southbound on Hawthorne it’s very hard to see to the left. You end up having to nudge the nose of your car into the intersection to even see when you ca. try to cross. I’ve personally had a couple of close calls with speeding cars on 1st. This needs to be addressed soon or there is likely to be a serious accident at this intersection!

There is not stop sign here. There should be stop signs on both sides of the street to make it safer for pedestrians crossing the hill.

Good Morning!
I'm writing concerning the intersection of the BLine Trail and Rogers St. I'm so very grateful for the new speed bump and warning signage that was added recently. It has really made a positive impact on the communication between all humans who cross that intersection whether they are in cars, on bikes, or on foot. I'm asking that some of the confusing signage that now exists be addressed and potentially have a blinking yellow crosswalk system added just like what was added at 4th St. and Rogers. When walking on the BLine trail, there are stop signs saying that cross traffic does not stop thus pedestrians assume cars won't stop. That is accurate. On Rogers, their are yellow warning signs that people may be in the crosswalk and most cars want to stop and let people cross. This creates some confusion as each entrance to the intersection people are expecting the others to not stop. Then there are cars who don't stop and just fly over the speed bump which adds to the confusion. I believe the addition of flashing yellow blinking bright lights that are initiated by the pedestrians crossing on the BLine trail would provide much more obvious and direct communication to the cars creating a safer crossing area. Please install the flashing yellow cross walk lighting like you did on 4th and Rogers at this intersection. Gratefully!

My office is located at 2909 S Sare Rd. There was some work done on Sare Rd and a sign was placed by my office but has yet to be removed. Can someone come by to remove it?

There is desperate need for a crosswalk/stop signs in front of E Graham Pl., on Henderson St. There is a bus stop across the street and people obviously need to cross to get to it, but the cars don’t ever slow down and it is extremely hazardous getting to the bus stop. Please help, thanks.

Intersection of Rhoer Road and Sare is very dangerous. Jackson Creek middle school is there and many cars, school buses and trucks use those roads . There needs to be more stop signs or a traffic light to make that intersection safe.

At 7th/Morton, the “new traffic pattern” sign is *after* the intersection. It should be located *before* the intersection to alert folks that cross-traffic no longer stops.

On behalf of myself and concerned neighbors, we request the inclusion of a stop sign at High St. and Greenbriar Lane. This is an area of fast moving traffic despite the fact that it is also a crosswalk for school children and there are numerous children walking in the area. There are numerous stop signs along High St. up until this point so the lack of a stop sign at this particular intersection is a dangerous anomaly. If you could please implement one here, it would be much appreciated by the various surrounding neighborhoods. Thank you.

There are several street signs leftover from the path construction near the High St roundabout.

Starting the 7th Street Bikeway project is great. I hope we have lots of low-traffic thoroughfares in twon some day. But finish what you started on Allen Street. There is no signs, no flashing beacons, no paint. Nothing that designates the street a low and slow traffic area. Cars drive way faster now with the "improvements" then they did with the hodgepodge pilot. Put some signs up. Paint the street. Put some flashers at the Washington St intersection and the Henderson St intersection. Allen is not finished.
