Street & Traffic Signs

Hello, The street sign at the corner of Montclair and Queens Way is tilted and twisted. Large Moving Vans and Tractor Trailers are the likely suspects. This occurs several times each year. Is there a flexible version of the sign post ? Thanks Monty Marsh 812-339-3558

There needs to be a street sign at Winslow and Henderson streets. There are so many more missing street signs than I can mention here. I have lived here since 1986 and I get confused. I can’t imagine what it is like for newcomers. Can’t city employees that drive around town such as police, garbage collectors etc. report these missing street signs as they are driving around town Or someone in the street department make it their job to check every street in town for missing street signs.

Good Morning! I'm writing concerning the intersection of the BLine Trail and Rogers St. I'm so very grateful for the new speed bump and warning signage that was added recently. It has really made a positive impact on the communication between all humans who cross that intersection whether they are in cars, on bikes, or on foot. I'm asking that some of the confusing signage that now exists be addressed and potentially have a blinking yellow crosswalk system added just like what was added at 4th St. and Rogers. When walking on the BLine trail, there are stop signs saying that cross traffic does not stop thus pedestrians assume cars won't stop. That is accurate. On Rogers, their are yellow warning signs that people may be in the crosswalk and most cars want to stop and let people cross. This creates some confusion as each entrance to the intersection people are expecting the others to not stop. Then there are cars who don't stop and just fly over the speed bump which adds to the confusion. I believe the addition of flashing yellow blinking bright lights that are initiated by the pedestrians crossing on the BLine trail would provide much more obvious and direct communication to the cars creating a safer crossing area. Please install the flashing yellow cross walk lighting like you did on 4th and Rogers at this intersection. Gratefully!

The pedestrian crossing signal on the Southwest corner of West 3rd Street as it crosses I-69 Southbound has obviously been hit by a vehicle. The whole thing is on the ground, including the post.

Pinewood lane is a dead end and we have many cars coming to turn around in our drive way. Saturday morning very early a car came down went through our yard to get turned around. Can we get a dead end or no outlet sign posted at the intersection of Pinewood Dr. and Pinewood Lane. I know there is one posted at Pinewood and Walnut but that obviously hasn’t helped a lot.

Going in the direction of W First, on College in front of the AFL-CIO building (which is next to Planned Parenthood) there are several overhead signs for different turns. The one for the left turn lane is almost totally obscured by branches from a tree on the sidewalk.
