Since Roger Street is closed, all people who live off of high Street have to take high Street up to Morse Pike/Hillside. With these signs now up on both sides, it is down to one lane for no reason. There's no reason to have the northbound traffic on high Street blocked.
With Rogers closed off everyone who lives off High street has to go up to use Moores Pike. The Road Closed sign on south High Street is too close to the light. If just one car on northbound high street is in the left hand turn lane, no cars can access southbound high street. Sign needs to be moved back significantly or need to deaignate left hand turn lane for southbound traffic. Thank you.
Would it be possible to have a NO OUTLET sign posted at the corner. We get many cars turning into our street as people think it goes through as a short cut. Thank you.
Ornamental grass from residence obstructing stop sign at 1st and Mitchell. Cross traffic from 1st does not have a stop sign making the intersection very dangerous if obstructed sign is not observed.
Hello again, thanks for changing the one small sign on 3rd. St. Now I'd like to request adding "NO THRU TRUCKS" x2 signs to the two no trucks image signs (red cross-out) that are at 3rd and Rogers on the west-side facing east. They are not working, there is a huge influx of thru truck traffic on W 3rd St. and I think adding the written out signs to the two existing signs would help solve the problem. Thanks, Jaclyn
Needs a no parking sign. People routinely park and create dangerous situation.
There is a Detour sign across from Griffin Realty pointing north on College Ave. College Ave is one-way street going south. I have kept a spreadsheet of cars going the wrong way for several years. The number has increased tremendously during the month of August 2024. January - July 2024 I witnessed 18 vehicles driving the wrong way. In August there have been 25 vehicles driving the wrong way. I'm only at the office Monday-Friday from about 11:00 am to about 5:00 pm - so there are probably many more. It seems to me that something should be done about this. Thanks, Rachel LaGrange
Many drivers passing East or West on Dodds do not realize that Lincoln Street (one-way, Northbound) traffic does not have a stop sign. I live on this corner, and work from home in sight of this intersection, and I see many many close calls, as well as accidents as traffic coming full speed North on Lincoln are suddenly confronted with drivers on Dodds who have stopped, and then started into the intersection, assuming they have the right of way. Could we possibly get "cross traffic does not stop" added to the Dodds stop signs? I doubt that the accident reports fully reflect the dangers.
Deer cross S. Rogers St. daily in one particular location, on the north side of the 2129 S Rogers St property. An increasing number of cars fly down the road all day and lots of people use the sidewalk so its a risk not only to the deer but to motorists and pedestrians. I am requesting a deer crossing sign be installed on both sides of the road. My mom lives at 2219 S Rogers St. and we frequently see deer and their babies nearly get hit (and have been hit). If you face 2129 S Rogers, you will see the area on the far left side of the property where they cross near the trees. Thank you for considering this signage. Street lines and signs not enough to avoid a head on collision. Temporary lines are not sticking to pavemnet. Have seen motorists make north-flow clairizz a 2 lane one way.
