There’s no street sign for 11th St.
It would be helpful to have a west-pointing "One Way" sign installed on the east side of the Lincoln/Cottage Grove intersection and maybe even a "Do Not Enter" sign to alert drivers intending to turn right that they are about to encounter one-way traffic headed west. Currently, there is a west-pointing "One Way" sign on the NW corner of the intersection, but (ironically) view of it is mostly blocked by a "Do Not Enter" sign on the SW corner of the same intersection. Drivers on Lincoln who approach this intersection and who are unfamiliar with the street directions in this neighborhood could (do) easily turn right and head east against the traffic direction, formally in commission of a moving violation but it seems unfair to ticket them when the street layout is not well-communicated to the drivers. Note: there might have been a sign in this location in the past, but there have been some ADA-sidewalk projects in the area recently that necessitated temporary removal of signs, and any signs laying about could then have been picked up by a member of one of the local fraternities, notorious for sign theft in the neighborhood.
Street sign "Cherry St." has been down weeks and weeks. I reported this more than 2 weeks ago. This is in Green Hill Addition off S. Walnut St. There are many deliveries up and down this street. I order groceries, meals, etc. Please take this seriously. I am 94 years old and depend on these deliveries. Please confirm receipt. Thank you.
Stop light is completely out
In the southbound lane of South Woodlawn (two-way street) at its intersection with East 3rd, you have a traffic signal light hanging in the lane as if it were a a northbound lane. This often confuses drivers into thinking this is a one-way northbound turn lane. Please remove the extra signal light or move it into its proper lane. Thank you.
The no truck signs at W. Allen and S. Fairview Streets are faded and less obvious to truck drivers unfamiliar with this restricted route. Some realize their mistake at the intersection of Allen and Rogers. Others mow down the stop sign and neighbor’s yard. The signs at Allen and Patterson were replaced a few years ago, but they ignore those too.
Stop sign has been knocked down/fallen and is not very visible as you approach Montclair from heading west on Rock Creek Dr.
Abandoned street construction sign. Face down in grass.
Wheelchair user cannot reach pedestrian crossing signal button, due to elevated concrete barrier around the pole.
