Pedestrian crossing sign at Kirkwood and B-Line is knocked down in the road.
Pedestrian crossing sign at Kirkwood and B-Line is knocked down in the road.
At the intersection of 3rd and Jordan, there are far too frequent instances of southbound cars on Jordan reaching the intersection and turning or attempting to turn left (east) only to realize - or not! - that 3rd St. is one-way going west at that point. There is one "ONE-WAY" sign on the southeast corner of the intersection but it does not prevent this issue. Can an additional "No Left Turn" sign please be added near the stoplight so drivers will see it when they look at the light?
Stop sign at Hillsdale Ct and Hillsdale Dr is obscured by overgrown invasive plants. The entire ROW is as well.
Parking is prohibited on the south side of the street to prevent people from being blocked in. There are “no parking this side” signs posted on that side. The sign in front of 2301 N. Martha St. has disappeared (someone has removed it). The house is used as an AirBnb for up to 10 people so they sometimes have guests that park on the south side of the street and block me in (I live at the end of the street at 2305). I don’t know who took down the “No parking this side” sign, but could the city please replace it / put up a new one?
approximately W Glen Oaks Drive and Curry Pike. On South bound Curry Pike the right lane merge into left lane has been altered. It looks like left lane to merge to right lane.
Two signs within a inches of each other, one blocking the other. Project has been finished a while I think but this may need attention.
The issue is the street sign at the corner of Matlock and Headley. Someone had knocked the street sign down, which used to only indicate Headley Road as you were turning onto it from Matlock. The sign was finally replaced indicating both Headley Road and Matlock Road only they put it indicating the wrong road for each. In other words, the Headley Road sign is pointed towards Matlock Road and the Matlock Road sign is pointed to Headley Road. It needs to be rotated 90 degrees.
The stop sign at the intersection of this street and Curry Pike is showing significant wear and needs to be replaced.
The sign saying "Clark St." at the northeast corner of East Third and Clark has a right-angle bend in the center of it, so it's impossible to read the name of the street.
I live on the northwest corner of N Dunn and Saville, 2401 N. Dunn. Now that the paving and striping has been completed, what about putting up 3-Way signposts underneath each of the stop signs here at this intersection? Those of us who live in Matlock Heights are well aware of drivers who blow through this intersection on Dunn, especially traveling to the south. We wait at this white stripe until we are certain that people are actually stopping. My concern is for those drivers who may assume people will stop and begin to enter the intersection with the intention to turn right (south). They could be T-boned and suffer injuries as has happened in the past. Some of us who stop at this stripe will actually honk our horn if we see someone not obeying this stop sign. I would really appreciate someone from your department looking in to this matter. At the very least, it might influence drivers to be a little more cautious at this intersection. Thank you.
