I have two requests: 1. Street trees need to be trimmed up. The new Post Office vehicles are taller and hitting lower tree branch. Other delivery trucks have the same trouble. If this is not a City’s issue please contact the Renwick HOA. My address is 1891 S Renwick Blvd 2. There is a water grate at my corner (Renwick and Seminary) where a tree is trying to grow. I,have been able to trim below,the grate in past years but unable to this year. I tried spraying with vinegar but no luck. Can someone lift the grate and remove? Many thanks. MVS

Daniel Street from Forrester to the west, to Olcott on the east, has numerous trees that are mature with low hanging branches. Not only are the trees dropping limbs routinely that find their way to the sewer drains and are causing clogs and water to build up on the road, but they are a hazard as personal vehicles and commercial vehicles travel this section of road daily and hit them and/or vehicles are constantly swerving to miss them and narrowly miss hitting approaching vehicles, and there have been near misses with people on bikes, walkers, kids, etc. The city needs to take the time to send out crews to work this entire road and take down all the low limbs on these trees so that there are none coming in contact with vehicles, and really trim them back so not hanging over the road.
