Maple tree on the 11th Street side of the east building is dying.
Maple tree on the 11th Street side of the east building is dying.
owned parcels on West cottage Grove east of Monroe Street are overgrown and obstructing sidewalk passage. This is the only sidewalk and poison ivy and brush make it difficult to navigate. There's a tree marked for removal that needs addressed before it causes injury or property damage. This has been reported before.
City tree is blocking the business sign. I couldn't find the shop I was trying to do business with as I was approaching from 3rd Street/Campus area
Large (beautiful) sycamore on the SE corner of Fess/11th is encased in vines, some of which are poison ivy. This is right by the sidewalk, and appears to be in the City ROW. Is the trimming of the vines the responsibility of the owner? Elevate says IU owns this parcel. It looks like the vines are so heavy that it is stressing the tree. There is also a large maple (?) just east of it that has some vines, but it only looks like a Euonymous.
One of the two trees in the City ROW in front of this house (the west tree) is almost completely dead with large branches high up that look like they could fall any minute onto something or someone. The east tree looks fine, except for all the vines growing on it that could be stressing it.
The beautiful Linden tree in front of our store (JL Water's) has been reported a couple of times now for dangerous hanging branches. The christmas lights from a few years ago are all that is keeping these some of these good sized branches from falling on pedestrians or cars. Please send somebody out asap, thank you. We love the tree and think just a trim is necessary!
Walnut exit from Blue Ridge neighborhood. Cars coming into town from the north traveling south are hidden by the brush when trying to turn left onto walnut from Blue Ridge Dr. This iOS very dangerous as this traffic is traveling quite fast. If we could get the brush/shrubs trimmed back so we can see further down the road this would be very helpful
I believe the honeylocust in the parkway in front of my house is dead. It’s Site ID 35450.
One of the two very large trees bordering the street appears diseased and dying. It is dropping branches often. The tree is also right above a crucial storm drain and the debris is clogging the drain often.
Dead street tree in ROW along the south side of 7th Street half-way between Grant and Dunn, and immediately west of the former entrance to the Poplars. Attached image from Google maps is from July 2023, healthy and perhaps newly planted.
