Running wild for over a year
Running wild for over a year
I moved a large dead opossum off of the street and put it in the tree plot just next to the sidewalk at 1220 E First st. (south side of the street). The opposum had been hit and had been dead for a while I think but I didn't want it to continue to be smushed and to cause traffic to go around it. I am hoping it can be picked up by animal control. I don't live there - I was coming home from downtown when I saw it.
Racoons (at least 2) have found a way into walls of house through gap in roof eves
I am concerned about the mowing/bush-hogging on the side of I-69 off of Tapp road and other similar places on the side of highways. It is destruction of wildlife habitat and there is no point to mowing it since nobody ever touches that area. I apologize if I am reaching out to the wrong department. Have a good day!
A skunk has been spraying somewhat often the last few weeks and we have seen it in our neighbors yard. We would like to avoid our dogs getting sprayed again this year, are we permitted to trap skunks?
There's a groundhog under my tool shed (which is also burrowing under the back porch and the garage). I'd be grateful for any guidance you might offer in how to trap and relocate.
Yesterday evening a orange male cat attacked my leg severely biting and scratching me. The cat was wearing a yellow collar and took off into the neighborhood behind our house. My doctor said that the cat needs to be found and checked for rabies. I have no idea who the cat belongs to and my direct neighbors don’t own him

Nate and Brad can you check the furnace filter for fire or burning wire on 12 st at Daltons
Aggressive deer charged at me and my dog on a walk two times in the past 24 hours. First encounter was last night (9/13) around 7:30p in the alleyway between University & 1st near to Woodlawn Ave. The second incident happened along S. Ballantine Rd between Maxwell Ln & Sheridan Dr. this morning (9/14) around 7:15a. Both instances involved does that did not have any fawns nearby and were unprovoked - my dog did not try to chase or attack as we both didn’t notice them initially. I had to throw nearby items that were on the ground, such as sticks & rocks, multiple times in order to get them to leave us alone. Extremely unnerving behavior especially for does without fawns and is a hazard to anyone in the neighborhood.
