The left turn signal come on for those heading south on high, even when no cars are in the turn lane. North bound High street traffic is then delayed every time. In the morning, it can take 2-3 light cycles to get though because the north bound traffic is delayed in error.
When traveling northbound through this intersection, the traffic signal consistently takes an unusually long time to cycle. The apparent cause is that the southbound left-turn signal always activates first, even when there are no vehicles waiting to turn left from the southbound direction. This results in unnecessary delay for northbound traffic, as well as eastbound and westbound traffic, adding approximately 10 seconds to each signal cycle and creating congestion and inefficiency. It appears that the southbound left-turn phase may be activating without vehicle demand, possibly due to a malfunctioning or misconfigured sensor. In other nearby intersections, the left-turn phase only activates when a vehicle is detected. I would appreciate it if this signal timing and detection could be reviewed and adjusted so that the southbound left-turn phase only activates when vehicles are present. Turn signals for both east and west bound traffic are triggered although nobody is in the turn lanes. Pedestrians can't cross east/west and traffic going east/west just sits there while no cars are turning.
the walkway/lights are not timed right. A walker gets the hand stop sign and then the light changes too quickly for them to exit the intersection.
The light here isn't timed with the light on Third Street so traffic backs up heading north towards the bypass. It's horrible!
Traffic lights don't function properly in this whole city. I can't wait for the traffic during the eclipse and there is a red light for all cars and everybody just sits there pondering the meaning why the traffic department people deserve to keep their job.
The light for the left turn lane coming up off of I 69 onto 2nd Street from northbound 69 is not engaging. I sat at the light for 10 minutes as well as several other vehicles to the point where we were going on red lights when the traffic was clear enough for us to go.
The traffic light to enter left onto Bloomfield Road (2nd street) is unresponsive at night. Cycles for traffic on 2nd street but not for those turning left onto 2nd st from the i69 exit

When turning left off of Basswood Drive, if you are not there BEFORE the light turns green for anyone going straight/right at the same intersection, your left turn light stays red until the next cycle. It is so unnecessary and should be a yellow caution arrow like literally every other street light in existence.
