We are aware of this malfunction. The issue will be resolved when the signal is replaced in the near future.
Other: When traveling northbound through this intersection, the traffic signal consistently takes an unusually long time to cycle. The apparent cause is that the southbound left-turn signal always activates first, even when there are no vehicles waiting to turn left from the southbound direction. This results in unnecessary delay for northbound traffic, as well as eastbound and westbound traffic, adding approximately 10 seconds to each signal cycle and creating congestion and inefficiency. It appears that the southbound left-turn phase may be activating without vehicle demand, possibly due to a malfunctioning or misconfigured sensor. In other nearby intersections, the left-turn phase only activates when a vehicle is detected. I would appreciate it if this signal timing and detection could be reviewed and adjusted so that the southbound left-turn phase only activates when vehicles are present. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
