I've noticed a lot of people walking from the apartment complex out to the main road on this street and I wanted to send a report to see if someone could either trim the foliage to ensure people can walk on the side of the road or if a sidewalk could be created down South Oakdale Drive to protect pedestrians. There are multiple potholes on Amp Way, near Target and Current at Latimer Square. The largest is past the entrance that Target shares with Chik-fil-a. Further down the road there are two, one pretty deep, right at the corner crosswalk. This concerns me due to the blind corner and crosswalk. Some drivers come around that corner in the middle of the road, and it makes it difficult to avoid hitting the pothole. This road is, at times very busy and congested, with bus, car, scooter, bicycle, and foot traffic. The curbside parking for the apartments has cars facing two different directions, which gets chaotic. The turn lane in front of Target is very tight if you're turning right, with poor visibility due to the hedges, and oncoming traffic often speeding. it wouldn't be a bad place for a few speed bumps, especially with the IU Students returning soon.

Hi, I am hoping you can forward this to the appropriate person to address this concern. This weekend I was biking with my son, going east on 1st St and entering Rogers-Binford campus by the playground. We were approaching the trail connection at the end of 1st street east of High St and I was largely focused on the road because it's a bit bumpy there. At the last second I realized there was a metal chain stretched halfway across the trail. I was able to slam on my brakes and skid to a stop, but it was quite a close call. The chain is not particularly visible and wasn't there the last time we went through. We came very close to getting hurt, and it seems likely that someone will get hurt if it stays as is. Someone going through at night is going to be in for a rough surprise. I understand you probably put the vertical post on a tire in the middle of the trail to discourage cars from driving through there and that seems fine, but please (please!) don't stretch a chain across the trail. Or if there's some critical reason that the chain is there, then at least hang a bunch of large bright flags from it or something. Thank you! - RS

Due to efforts to calm traffic on Hawthorne and Maxwell traffic has increased considerably on Sheridan and Southdowns. Please provide both immediate (temporary) and long term tools to calm traffic to avoid a car hitting a pedestrian, biker, etc. on the bike paths on the same road.
On the new Elevate map it is impossible to see where the ECC property ends and where Second and High Streets begin. There are 2 ECC Preschool temporary signs, one each on High and E Second, in the grass, that have been there for at least 90 days. Could in this case the UDO Bloomington, 20.04.100 be applied and the signs removed?
An expansive plant is growing across half the trail the length of two Winslow Farm units. It needs to be cut way back to allow the entire width of the trail to be used. I don't think the Winslow Farms Association feels any ownership or responsibility for it.
