I am sensitive to the needs of the unhoused and the city needs to be doing much more to protect them and provide them safe living spaces, but it is frustrating to me that I cannot walk my dog in any of the parks near me (Bryan park, switchyard) without feeling unsafe because of homeless people yelling at and following me. A large, event-sized tent with fully closed sides is setup in Seminary Park.
I'm worried about a mallard nest in the park - that the mom and eggs will survive with dogs etc. in the park. Just wanted to make you aware. It's located in the weedy area around the ditch that flows north to south, near a bird house.
Hi, There is a substantial amount of poison ivy along the path that cuts through the middle of Bryan Park, especially toward the east. It's right at dog/toddler height. Could this be eradicated? Thank you.

there are trees blocking the way all along this trail
There are several spots along the Rail Trail (dirt/gravel section of the B-Line) where dirt has been dug up across the full width of the trail to build impromptu bike jumps. This has resulted is trip hazards and an uneven trail surface. I counted 2 spots where his had occurred during my visit yesterday. Can someone review and hopefully correct this please?
The eastern-most tree on the tree plot in front of my house is dead. The western-most tree on the tree plot(the tree next to the driveway) has many dead branches, and I fear the whole tree may be dying. Can at least the dead tree be removed? It would be good if the dead branches on the other tree could also be cut down. Thank you, Nancy Boerner
One of those horrible pear trees have fallen over again. Might be more reasonable to just cut them all down and put in new species everywhere.
