Other: I am sensitive to the needs of the unhoused and the city needs to be doing much more to protect them and provide them safe living spaces, but it is frustrating to me that I cannot walk my dog in any of the parks near me (Bryan park, switchyard) without feeling unsafe because of homeless people yelling at and following me. Bryan park used to be a safe park.

Thanks for the report. We have had a few issues with shelters at Bryan Park lately and BPD has been responding. If you ever feel unsafe, please call the BPD non-emergency number or 911, depending on your situation. We will continue to work with our security staff and BPD to keep parks safe.
