I know some of the equipment at the new Bryan Park playground is a little more challenging, and that is by design -- this is one of the few playgrounds not designed for 2-5 year olds in our system and as such affords a few more opportunities for challenge. "Unique challenge" is also something we heard from the community when asking for input on this playground. The tower is sold as a complete product from playground vendors with some specific safety design and requirements, so we wouldn't be able to just add a ladder to it. That said, we'll continue to keep an eye on this playground as use develops to better assess how it is performing for the community. There may be creative ways this can be addressed if it's something that we're hearing about a lot. In the meantime, I hope you continue to enjoy the playground and that this provides a great opportunity for kids to face challenge but also to support and help one another.
