An Airbnb, located at 723 W Allen St., is claiming city property as private property. The land on the west end of the park located at 1126 S Fairview St., is being rented out as a parking lot and used to store vehicles, dog kennel etc.
Altercations have occurred when children and dog walkers attempt to access the area as the adjacent property owner claims that it is theirs because they maintain it (mowed the grass).
The neighborhood would like to see this green space no longer rented out and used for personal storage of one individual.

There is a homeless camp in the back woods of this house. we had an accepted offer on the house until the people walked out into the backyard and saw the homeless encampment. Why does Covenanter Road have 3 minutes of green light at 7 in the morning for 1 car when there are 40 cars lined up down College Mall Road both directions?
it seems weird to have that long of a light for 1- 2 cars is excessive

Hidden homeless encampment of 2 people. Located in woods at corner of “The Crossing @ PeteEllis”, 812-339-1400. This spot is a heavily used Pete Ellis pedestrian crossing that should be free of distraction and threat.

Multiple unhoused people are beginning to gather behind the residential dumpster and by the mail boxes. They hang out for awhile and then it evolves into them setting up camps and tarps, etc. often results in disturbances in the early morning hours. This is not the first time this has happened. Drug use and evidence of drug use was found. Do not want criminal charges or anything, just for them to not set up In our backyard.
