Ferguson Dog Park -- LOVE the place! But there are DEEP holes everywhere - twisting ankles and had my dog not been just walking, she stepped in such a deep one it would have snapped her leg if she had been running! I would be happy to help fill these holes! VERY dangerous! Signs posted to not let the dogs dig holes would be great to see! I don't need a DR bill or a vet bill just from running my dog!

The largest section in Ferguson dog park has many puddles that fill in when it rains, one of which is almost always full and is very deep. The puddles get very muddy, and when the water is turned off for winter, there is no way to prevent dogs from getting in the puddle and then no way to clean them off. It would be beneficial, I believe, to fill in these holes with dirt of gravel so this would no longer be an issue. Thanks for considering!
Poop in the dogpark. Several months ago both the supply of bags and the container for used bags were moved from within the dog fields themselves to an area within the double gate entry area. Perhaps this was an attempt at efficency but it has had a sigificanlty adverse affect on the conditions in the park itself with much more poop being left on the ground and more full bags being left scattered around the park. Yesterday I picked up 11 full bags left out in the field and this is not uncommon. Both the bags and the refuse containers need to be returned to their original spots to turn this trend around. Kitty Robinson and myself have a total of 4 raised garden plots. We are unable to take care of them so if the food bank group wants to go see if there is anything they can get they are more than welcome to it. There might still be tomatoes.

People have been camping in the shelter houses at 9th St. Park for several weeks, if not months. I've been reluctant to officially report it but over the last week it's become a bit more permanent. And also a bit unruly.
