A Lime e-bike has been parked on the sidewalk since the Labor Day weekend (Saturday). Can the neighbors and I bring it somewhere so it is no longer a hazard? To Switchyard Park? Also, what is the town of Bloomington's law regarding how long these rented vehicles can remain abandoned on a public sidewalk? And if a pedestrian is injured by this e-bike while blocking the sidewalk, would the law go after the town of Bloomington, the entity that has legalized this type of vehicle's use? Previously, there was an e-bike on my neighbor's front lawn for six weeks. My neighbor should be given a form of payment for use/rental of the front lawn for the vehicle's storage. ELIDA C. The scooter is still on the corner of 3rd Street and Meadowbrook, blocking the handicapped-accessible sidewalk ramp. This issue will eventually lead to an accident. Please immediately remove this nuisance from the sidewalk accessibility ramp. I went outside at 5:09 PM and took the picture uploaded here.
