Hi there, I wasn't sure what section to file this complaint under, since it is related to a loud construction project that has been ongoing on High street for several weeks. There was no major issue up until today, August 6. It is now almost 10:30 PM and the construction has not finished for the night. There is a loud machine (a pump, maybe?) that has continually run since about 8:30 pm and is showing no sign of stopping. We have small kids who are sensitive to noise, and we live right next to the construction. I understand the workers have to complete their task, but to go this late at night seems disruptive to folks in the area. Thanks.
The sidewalk on the west side of High is completely blocked by overgrown bushes and trees. This is urgent because kids can't use the side path to get to school and this would be the best alternative for all the kids who live north of Childs.
I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? Thank you for consideration!
I would like to request a sidewalk ramp / crossing be installed at the SE corner of Walnut St Pike and Winslow. It looks like there has previously been an accident there and now there is a concrete barricade and guard rail preventing the pedestrians from crossing. So either the pedestrian has to make a somewhat dangerous crossing there, or cross three extra times to go around and back. Thank you! Michelle Giansante
Blocked street from drop off and pickup of students. Cars are partially parking in 2nd St during drop off and pick up for school. Multiple people have complained multiple times over the past few years and nothing changes. The police department won’t address it because they say the school manages the drop off and pick up. However, they are blocking a city street twice daily. The school hasn’t responded. It is the city’s responsibility to ensure the streets are safe for driving. They’re even parking front of “No parking” signs. Please have the police address the city street being blocked repeatedly.

Can you look at installing a dead end sign at the intersection of S. Hathaway Ct. and E. Cathcart Drive? Cars keep driving thru the neighborhood in an attempt to get to the parking lot at Southest Park and many turn around in the driveways of the houses on Hathaway.
Need limb & brush debris from storm picked up
The sidewalk ends abruptly in a very dangerous intersection. This turn needs to be improved for pedestrian safety. The sidewalk should not be on only one side of the road, particularly in such a dangerous location for pedestrians to cross the road, just to have the sidewalk reappear only meters away.
