Several potholes at the intersection of Smith Pike and Norway Drive, and the Hoosier Aloha Subdvision. East end of Norway where it joins Smith is awful. Might have something to do with the "sidewalk to nowhere" which just went up and their construction work. Sorry no picture at this time.
Hi: I am just wondering who is responsible for street/landscape maintenance along certain streets in the city and county that I travel often. Along Smith Rd., just north of Hillside, there was a lot of brush that has been cut down but nothing else and an ugly partial fence is still standing. The new roundabout at Sare Rd. and Rogers….who is responsible for maintaining the landscaping that was installed. It is a bunch of weeds right now. Along south Highland, just north of Rogers, there is a curve that is alway full of potholes and the street and sidewalk are a mess. On Sare Rd., at the entrance to Hyde Park, who is responsible for a mess of grass clippings that is always left after the grass is allowed to grow very, very long. It is still there. Pothole is in the road near our mailbox. There has been some confusion this year about whether Bloomington is responsible for maintaining the road area in Winslow Farm that circles the islands. We got no snow removal during the snowfall after the first of the year. We have lived in our house since 2015, and the City has always plowed it in winter and filled holes.
Hi there, I am living at 311 E. 10th street and to the east of the house, is a public alley road for cars to drive back to the parking lots behind the houses in that vicinity. Over the past few months, we have seen increase sizes of the existing potholes that were there probably from last winter or just erosion over time. This alley way is a gravel drive so as cars continue to drive on it, the potholes get bigger and deeper. I was seeing if there is a possibility before the winter to get the holes filled in with asphalt or gravel to prevent our sedans from bottoming out and scraping the ground with our cars. I know that this alley road is a popular road for the tenants that live within a few houses of the alley because it is one of the main access points to the parking lot in the back of the houses. I would appreciate if someone could reach out to me to even see if it is possible to accomplish before the first snow fall this year. Pot hole filling debris all over the road! Two nights ago we believe that a snow plow inadvertently dug up and distributed debris from a pot hole that was coming undone. Black sticky stuff has been spread up the road and on our driveway (only a little on our driveway). The debris is a a hazard, and of course, the pot hole is too. We hope that the street can be cleaned up sooner rather than later please.

Stormwater runoff into detention area on E. Brightcrest on east side of S. Smith Road is slow to drain due to vegetation blockage of storm sewer. During heavy rain it results in water flowing over sidewalk and into the street. It also is flooding spruce trees and thus may be detrimental to their health if the condition continues into somewhat warmer weather.
Greetings, I am unsure if this is a city issue, but hope that you can point me in the right direction. In the area between our sidewalk and the road there are two tree stumps. Some work has been done on the sewer/drainage at this location. But the hole was never filled or covered with grass. Three foot tall clean out PVC pipe sticks out. Clay drains down the sidewalk every time it rains.
