I live off of Gifford Road and Curry Pike and each time there has been snow, it seems like the snow plows and salt truck miss are area especially Gifford Road. Prefect example was yesterday and today no signs of it being plowed or salted. Will any one be plowing and salting roads today?
Now that the snow is mostly gone, I hope that the leaf collection crews soon will be able to resume the work that was not finished before the winter started. The connector paths on Olcott Park trail from Mill Stone Way and Jackson Creek Middle School did not get plowed at all this year. No way for students to get from school parking lot to make it through Olcott Park to the adjoining neighborhood. Very dangerous walking up/down the paved connector path from Mill Stone Way to Olcott Park Trail. These were overlooked this year. The thaw/refreeze of the snow made these access trails very dangerous

I have been very disappointed with the snow/ice maintenance of Rockport Rd south of Tapp Rd this winter. Before writing this letter, I researched your site and discovered The Highlands neighborhood, and ways in and out of the addition, are exclusively excluded from within the city limits. It appears there is a cut out just around my neighborhood excluding it from city snow/ice removal. Now I realize why there is a huge difference in road conditions and safety once you cross Tapp Rd. With how curved Rockport Rd is in that stretch and how many pot holes and construction obstacles there seem to be, it is very dangerous to have even a little bit of snow and ice on that road. I was very surprised that this doesn't fall under the city's responsibility considering how many residents there are in that neighborhood and how many children and school buses come in and out. I work at the hospital, a 3.5 mile drive, and have a very difficult time getting to and from work on that road. I have had to get a ride multiple times during this severe winter, as the hospital does not close and always needs its employees to be there, safe and on time. I want to know if there are options to get that road cleared during winter weather to increase safety for the city's many residents of The Highlands neighborhood?
Circle at end of Sunflower Drive needs second pass to remove snow still on circle. Last time mail truck got stuck trying to ge to the mailboxes on the circle. Thanks.
Location: 611 E State Road 45,46 Bypass and 711 to a lesser extent. There is gravel and sand on the driveways of these homes at the junction of the sidewalks. This makes it difficult for the bicycle riders to ride throughout it. I assume it is the responsibility of the owners to clean it up. If you could give them a call, maybe that would help. The 611 address is very bad and the 711 address is moderate. On the positive side, your department has been doing an excellent job of cleaning up the limestone chunks that fall down on the sidewalk further east where you had to cut through the stone for the new highway. Hello, I am writing to this email address since I've been told that trees between a sidewalk and the street are considered street trees, and are managed by the City Parks Urban Forestry Program. I last year bought a house at 3216 E Winston St.. At that time the two trees to the east of the house between the sidewalk and the street looked unwell, but I thought it might be because the summer before had been exceptionally dry, and I knew the house had been vacant (and so presumably not necessarily well cared for) for some time. However, it's now apparent that one is dead and the other is nearly so. Can you let me know if the city is responsible for these trees? At (or very close to) 509 N Lincoln St there has been water flowing onto the sidewalk for months. There is now a huge mud slick across several yards of sidewalk that everyone waking on that side has to step into the street to avoid.
