Traffic Suggestions
2258 West Bloomfield Road
- Case Date:
- 8/18/2016
The new light in front of the the Twin Lakes Recreation center has backed up traffic a lot especially during peak travel times, morning and evening rush hour commutes. I have lived in Oakdale Square apartments for over 4 years and the amount of extra time it takes to get to and from work (I work at IU) has increase by 5-10 minutes because of the light. As a suggestion I think the light should be a yellow flasher for Bloomfield road traffic between the hours of 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm. This would decrease the amount the traffic can back up in this area.
Potholes, Other Street Repair
226-252 South Williamsburg Drive
- Case Date:
- 3/10/2015
The entrance/exit to Williamsburg shopping area from 3rd street just east
of CVS is in need of serious repair all the way north to behind Barnes and Noble. I don't know who to contact since this could be private property but the damage moderate to severe probably because the drainage is not good on that lot area.
Sidewalk & Curb Complaints
227 E Winslow RD
- Case Date:

I would like to request a sidewalk ramp / crossing be installed at the SE corner of Walnut St Pike and Winslow. It looks like there has previously been an accident there and now there is a concrete barricade and guard rail preventing the pedestrians from crossing. So either the pedestrian has to make a somewhat dangerous crossing there, or cross three extra times to go around and back. Thank you!

Blocked Sidewalk
228-256 West 3rd Street
- Case Date:

There is an obstruction on College Ave. just before 3rd St. Does this obstruction still serve a purpose or could it be removed to make turning on that corner more safe?
Biking & Walking
228-264 West Dodds Street
- Case Date:
- 2/5/2017
Walking west on the south side of Dodds, I was struck by the Utility pole in the middle of the side walk as I approached the street ramp. This is clearly an obstruction and is not compatible with our policies of making sidewalks disability-friendly. While a blind individual might be able to manage this obstruction, a wheel-chair would be seriously impaired.

Debris Removal (Sand, General Street Debris)
229 S Hillsdale DR
- Case Date:

Excessive growth in the front yard is spreading and leaning into the street as there is no curb in this stretch of Hillsdale. If one were to take a flat blade shovel, one could scrape 4-6 inches of vegetation off the asphalt between 229 and 225.

I am a realtor with FC Tucker and I am trying to sell a house at the above address. There is a homeless camp in the back woods of this house. we had an accepted offer on the house until the people walked out into the backyard and saw the homeless encampment. It is virtually going to be impossible to sell a home that has a homeless encampment behind it. You will be hearing from me very frequently until this situation is resolved. Julie Davis FC Tucker
Blocked Street
2300 E 2nd ST
- Case Date:
- 8/8/2024
Blocked street from drop off and pickup of students. Cars are partially parking in 2nd St during drop off and pick up for school. Multiple people have complained multiple times over the past few years and nothing changes. The police department won’t address it because they say the school manages the drop off and pick up. However, they are blocking a city street twice daily. The school hasn’t responded. It is the city’s responsibility to ensure the streets are safe for driving. They’re even parking front of “No parking” signs. Please have the police address the city street being blocked repeatedly.
