The storm drain in front of my house at 2217 E. Wimbleton Ln. clogs multiple times with every rain storm. We unclog it as often as we can, and apparently some neighbors have been helping out when we are away, but we wonder if there is any better solution. It seems like it will be quite hazardous in the winter, since we aren't always available to unclog it.
Hi, I'd like to report a sewer problem. There is a steady stream of water flowing out of a manhole. It leaks across the sidewalk and then onto Rogers where it flows into the storm sewer drain. It's on the northeast corner at the intersection of South Rogers and Coolidge. I just wanted to alert the utilities department about the issue. Thanks.
Neighbor's cat is coming across the street and hunting songbirds in my fenced backyard. Neighbor's name is Jennifer and she lives at 802 W 7th, Apartment 1. I have spoken to her three times about her cat. I live at 720 W 7th. I have a fish pond in my backyard and her cat poses a hazard to my fish as well as the songbirds in my yard. It is also making a toilet of my garden.
A stop sign located at the NW corner of Dodds and Dunn Street is down on the ground. It appears that a vehicle knocked it down as well as damaged the homeowners fence. I do not know if they have reported it, if it was a hit and run, etc. I feel that the sign needs to be righted so that unfamiliar southbound traffic on Dunn Street knows to stop. Thanks!
Just a question: I can't find a definition of "yard waste" on the site. Is it strictly grass clippings and leaves and other yard waste or can I include other compostable items from the kitchen - banana peels, apple cores, etc? thanks,
You have at least 1 or maybe 2 cars parked on the yellow curb. On 14th st between college and woodburn ave. Not really urgent except for the fact it shouldn't be there. Seems to be a problem a lot. Thanks
The city has come out and measured several times for a culvert to be installed in front of my driveway. The problem is that the street is higher than my driveway and this house is at the bottom of a hill. When it rains all the debris from the street and houses above me come into my driveway. There is so much water that my basement can flood and the water level can easily reach several feet deep. I have at the moment blocks of stones in front of my driveway so that the debris and water keeps going down Mitchel street instead of blocking the small drainage grates that are in driveway. Last week I had city utility workers digging holes in my yard looking for what they think might be a water main leak. I think there might be an underground stream. They patched my yard and laid straw, I now have after this weeks storm several large holes in my yard, some large enough to lose a medium size dog in. HELP!!!
