Hello I had a question regarding business and golf carts. I am in the process of establishing a transportation company that provides rides around Bloomington on golfcarts. First of all are golfcarts legal on the streets of bloomington and could we establish a business giving rides for money. Thanks, Erik
Hello I had a question regarding pedicabs/velocabs. 1st off are they allowed to operate in the city of Bloomington and are there any restrictions on them? Are there any pedicab companies that operate in Bloomington currently or have in the past? Thanks, Erik Smith

Lack of full attendance of the members of the Board of Zoning Appeals over at least the last three months is seriously hampering the capacity of the City to handle land use matters in an efficient and timely manner. The Board of Zoning Appeals has cancelled its regular meeting for July 25, 2024 for a lack of quorum. While the BZA did technically have a quorum in May and June, there were fewer than all 5 members present for the entirety of either of these meetings. City council and the mayor need to appoint BZA members who are taking this responsibility seriously without repeated absences.

Catalent factory is so loud I can hear the whirring noises from behind closed doors and windows 24/7
There are homeless encampments in the shut down parking lot of Arby's. The encampments have been growing daily and causing concerns for nearby businesses.
The noise from Organized Living (or Catalent, I'm not sure which one) is so loud I can hear it in every room with a window in my apartment well past 10 pm nightly (even past 2-3 am). The only places it is not audible are the bathrooms and closets with the doors closed. Is there anything that can be done about this?
