The 2 hybrid elm trees in front of our house are dying. I think there are the same tree across the street that are dead. Can you please evaluate the possibility of removing them? Thank you.

My name is Kaleen Dowdy, I work with Mackie Properties and we manage the Cameron Row HOA community. The homeowner of 2027 S. Ramsey Drive recently submitted a request that stated they believe the Oak tree (Scarlet) at the front of their unit near the street is dead. The City's Tree Map indicates this is a City Tree (I've attached a screenshot including all of the information from your Tree Map for this tree) and we are requesting that it be removed/replaced by The City. A large tree fell overnight blocking the wooded pedestrian path leading to the Jackson Creek Trail near Sherwood Oaks Park.
Trees down on west part of the loop in RCA park that is blocking the path. If you enter the trail off starry view and continue on the leftmost fork in the turns on the trail you’ll come across it. It’s before you reach the summit elementary, the western end of the condos along countryside are visible.
Stop sign heading West on 7th is blocked from view by tree.
1006 E Heather Dr. Tree in the tree plot has a significant number of large bees swarming and living in the tree. It is next to our community mailboxes, which presents a problem. The ground, underneath the tree, is turning black and the leaves are also turning black. I do believe they are killing this very lovely tree which the city planted a few years ago. Also, between Sherbrooke Place Condos (1000 E. Heather Drive) and Peppergrass condos, there is a deep hole, which a white pipe with a red flag has been placed so that someone doesn't step in the hole and injury themselves. There are many older residents who walk their dogs in this area.
