Could you please look at putting a 4-way stop in at the intersection of Pete Ellis and Longview. Because of the increased traffic due to the closing of the 10th and by-pass intersection, it makes it nearly impossible to get across Pete Ellis whilst traveling on Longview.
Jordan Avenue Improvements (05/01/2015 - 08/03/2015) Jordan Avenue from University Drive at the Musical Arts Center to the Jordan River bridge will have periodic lane restrictions for road improvements. Access to Jordan Avenue Parking Garage will still be available from the south.
Sewer Plant has emitted extreme odor and possible sulfide gas for over a week. Customers and employees report the smell is making them sick.
The issue is with this website/reporting system itself, not the courthouse. There needs to be a nonverbal method of reporting certain things - not the least of which being noise complaints. I lost my voice to cancer years ago, but I did not lose my hearing. I have a particularly loud set of neighbors, and I have been unable to do anything about them because I cannot call to make a complaint. I have seen other noise complaints on this website, and while their circumstances may not be the same as mine, it's clear there is a need for a nonverbal reporting method for noise complaints (as well as other similar non-emergent type issues). The parking lines around the square are extremely faded at this point. A light dusting of snow, and they will be completely invisible. Can we get those painted before the snow flies? Thanks!
The "dismount zones" are not working. They never did work, and now the scooters are an even bigger hazard. I see people riding them on the sidewalks around the square every day. If riders can't be bothered to care on their own, maybe we need some enforcement personnel out there to make them care. If we can have parking meter patrols, then surely we can have sidewalk patrols with authority to issue citations.
At the southeast corner of the courthouse square, there is a plastic electric utility cover plate. That plate is cracked and bows down unexpectedly when stepped on. This is a tripping hazard. Thanks!
