I would like to request that a turn signal be added to the traffic lights at the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection for drivers on 3rd Street coming from the East who wish to turn South onto Woodscrest. There is already a turn signal on Woodscrest for drivers who are driving North and turn West onto 3rd Street, and that turn signal is extremely helpful. However, there is no turn signal on 3rd Street for people who wish to turn left onto Woodscrest after coming from the East, and as a result, the turn is very difficult and often even unsafe to make. Often times, drivers never have a chance to make a left turn while the light is green due to the often high traffic on 3rd street, and so the drivers are able to turn only when the light turns yellow. Adding a turn signal there would undoubtedly increase the safety for everyone at that intersection. Many of the other intersections on 3rd Street have traffic lights with left turn signals, even for both the East and West directions, and I don't think that the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection should continue to lack a turn signal for drivers turning left onto Woodscrest. One of the stop signs is missing at the corner of Clark and 7th. It is the sign on the east side of the intersection that stops westbound traffic. The other 3 signs appear to be intact.

There are several street lights in the vicinity of the Baptist Church (maybe the name has changed) which is near the intersection of Woodscrest and 3rd Street that are not working. Could 3rd street in that area be driven at night to take a total tally of the lights that are out between High Street and College Mall Road? The pedestrian walk between Jefferson and Roosevelt where Fourth St. would be if it continued between these two streets is partially blocked at the Jefferson end by vegetation, including a young redbud tree. I reported this about a month ago, and nothing has been done. Could someone at least please tell me if and when the walk is going to be cleared, and if not, why not? As far as I know, it's a public walkway.

Hi, Fourth Street between Jefferson and Roosevelt is a blacktop path, and there's honeysuckle and other shrubs growing well into the path near Jefferson. Poison ivy is also growing in several patches on either side of the path for about half a block from Jefferson toward Roosevelt. Could you please see what can be done about this? Thanks!

Poison ivy is growing rapidly on the third yellow pole east of Jefferson on the south side of the pedestrian path. There's also more poison ivy along the north side of the path, further east, on the ground along the edge of the path.
